thought Alan's rendition of Ulysses had a vigor that suited
the poem perfectly. I also thought the cakes were great
(to-die-for frosting), and having the themes of sailing
and crossword puzzles depicted on them was a nice touch."

very much enjoyed the reunion and were glad to get caught
up with some of the family we haven't seen in years,
as well as to meet some kids and spouses for the first
time. Su also enjoyed meeting you and getting another
perspective on this sometimes overwhelming family
she married into.
My brothers reminded me that I must've been at your
house once before when we were on vacation, but I was
very small and did not remember that. In any case, it
was a great place to have the whole gang".

"It
was great to see my uncles and cousins again, many of
whom I had not seen in 20-30 years. I was pleased to see
that so many were able to make it.
I enjoyed Alan's recitation. I've got the bulk of it on
video, but no photos unfortunately. Alan, you really missed
your calling: you shoulda been in pictures. You really
put feeling and emotion into it.
Thanks a lot to Jane and Alan for hosting the event. Food
and drink were great. Thanks also to Holly and Arthur
for their contributions.
I wonder if Dan's economics lectures were this much fun?
Let's all meet again at the twins' 85th !!"

am so glad I went. It was terrific seeing cousins I've
never met, cousins I've not seen since they were youngsters;
the children of those "youngsters." I was impressed
by the diversity of careers. I thoroughly enjoyed cousin
Thad's guidance on how to better throw a Frisbee. I was
humbled by the amount of work that went into the week-end
and how terrific it was. I was delighted to hear and watch
Uncle Dan's puppet show. I want him to take it on the
road to Houston. That was worth the price of admission
right there. Thank you all for your efforts, creativity,
time and money. I hope to see you all (and more) same
time next year. Let me know what I can do to help make
it happen."
