Landscape Arch
The longest arch in Arches National Park
This formation doesn't have a name
II's a cool effect of what happens when
water gets in to the porous sandstone

The Amphitheater
Thousands of delicately carved spires rise in brilliant color from the amphitheaters of Bryce Canyon National Park.  Millions of years of wind, water and geologic mayhem have shaped and etched the pink cliffs at Bryce, which isn't actually a canyon but the eastern slope of the Paunsaguant Plateau.

Double Arch
Arches National Park preserves over 2,000 natural sandstone
arches, like the world-famous Double Arch, as well
as many other unusual rock formations. In some areas
the forces of nature have exposed millions of years of geologic history
.

Balanced Rock
The official description makes it sound as though
the balance is so fragile, a small gust of wind could blow it off.
However, upon inspection, the formation appears to be a single solid mass.

Zion National Park
Designated in 1919, Zion is Utah's oldest national park.
Most park facilities are located in the Zion Canyon area,
and it attracts the most visitors
