dinner at Weber's and the picnic. They deserve

V. J. Suits (Tien) Grauch
Tien is employed by the U. S. Geological Survey
She is the immediate past chair of the
Geophysics Division of the
Geological Society of America
Joan Zitzmann Suits
For ten years Joan has been a nurse at the Portage View Hospital
in Hancock, MI. She has a black belt in Aikido,
is a mountain biker and a dog lover. She will complete
her degree at Michigan State University as a
Nurse Practitioner in May 2008.





Jim and Joan Suits
Jim lives in Washington, DC. He is a recent
graduate of the University of Michigan
   
Kate, Duston, Sarah and Linda Norbut Suits
They live in Loami, IL.  Linda works for the Historic Sites Division
of the  Illinois Historic Preservation Agency in Springfield, IL.
The Sites Division offers a wide variety of public programs
that bring Illinois history to life and make it meaningful to
more than 2.5 million annual visitors.
  Duston is also employed by the State of Illinois.

Phoebe Gloeckner and Jane Vieth Suits
Phoebe is a professor of Art & Design at the University of Michigan,
Phoebe is perhaps best known for her 2002 illustrated novel,
"The Diary of a Teenage Girl."  Based in part upon entries from her own
adolescent journals, "The Diary" takes an unflinching
look
at the harrowing, unsupervised life of a young girl
growing up on the San Francisco streets of the 1970s.


Jane Vieth Suits
Jane is a professor of History at Michigan State University.
She is completing a book about Joseph Kennedy, "A Boston Irishman
at the Court of St. James's, 1938-1940.

Gwynn, Bryan and Daniel

Bryan is a professor of Physics at Michigan Tech University.  He is currently
developing a course on the physics of musical instruments. He has experimented with
attaching a clarinet mouthpiece to a flute and a flute mouthpiece to a clarinet to study the effect.
He says that the reason the saxophone has its special sound is that it is cone shaped
and therefore plays both the odd and even overtones. Bryan plays flute 
in the local symphony orchestra and for local church services

Kate, Sarah, Linda and Jane

Kate is fourteen and is a freshman at New Berlin High School. She loves the study of history and is an avid reader. She plays the clarinet and has just taken up the saxophone. She loves to try new things and would like to take up yoga and tai kwon do this year.

Sarah is twelve is in seventh grade at New Berlin Junior High School. She plays the saxophone in band. Sarah is member of New Berlin's Team Quest team. At each competition the group competes in activities across the curriculum including math, geography, the arts, and science with additional points for teamwork and creativity. She is an artist and spends a great deal of time drawing dragons.


 

Richard Grauch and Robert Suits
Dick is a geologist with the US Geological Survey.
Robert will be a senior at Houghton (MI) High School this fall. 
He is in the process of deciding where to attend college.
Jim, Bill and Robert Suits
Jim lives in Washington, DC, Bill is a student at Michigan
State University and Robert will be a senior at
Houghton, MI, High School
   

Linda Norbut Suits and Holly Boehm Kazarinoff
Holly is the Coordinator of the Enrichment Department,
School Improvement Services
, Tompkins-Seneca-Tioga
counties Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES).
She lives in Ithaca, NY
