My father was born in the small town of Butler Grove (pop. 300) Illinois, the youngest of eight.
Moved to St. Louis, Missouri, started a business and then moved the family to Kirkwood, Missouri,
a suburb of St. Louis.  Had six sons, of which I was the fourth.
