Joan Zitzmann Suits
.


Joan Suits is Bryan's wife. She is a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Portage Hospital in Hancock, MI and has taking a course of study through Michigan State University and is now a Nurse Practitioner. She is an avid mountain biker and cross country skier.

Joan was originally from New York City and later New Jersey. She and Bryan met at Carleton College in Northfield, MN. They both obtained Ph.D's in Chemistry from Illinois University

They have three sons, Jim, Bill and Robert

The MSU School of Nursing has about 500 undergraduates with
150 entering students each year. There continues
to be a strong demand for more nurses. Graduates of the
school can expect to earn beginning salaries of about $40,000
Joan Suits received the Marjorie A. Holmes
Graduate Nursing Student Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship provides financial assistance to
graduate students who have demonstrated the
capacity to achieve educational goals, and the
initiative to seek opportunities to further their progress
