Here's the photo of Joan and Liane Hansen.
This was taken at NPR headquarters in Washington DC just after Joan's
"on-air" puzzle with Will Shortz. (Will Shortz was in New York -- we just
heard his voice on a speaker). I got to watch and play along from the
control room and got to meet some very nice behind-the-scenes NPR people.
Afterwards, Liane Hansen gave us a brief tour of the NPR facilities and
introduced us to everyone we passed in the hallways. Most importantly,
Joan and I each got our own Weekend Edition Lapel pin. It was a very nice
experience and it was so nice that we just happened to be in DC for it.

Bryan H. Suits is a professor of Physics at Michigan Tech University. He is currently working on humanitarian demining using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance techniques. He plays flute in the Keweenaw Symphony. He lives in Houghton, MI, where the average winter snowfall is about 20 feet.

November 2004 Jim graduated from Houghton High School. He in June 2005 graduated from the University of MichiganHe was very active on stage crew activities, on the High School Quiz Bowl team and in the High School Band where he played First Chair Trumpet
Robert Suits
2001
Robert is a student of Amherst College. He likes singing and has performed in several Pine Mountain Music Festival Operas. He also likes History and Science Fiction.
