Holly's son, Zachary, was born November 19, 1985 and graduated from the Ithaca (NY) High School. He enjoys music very much and played the French Horn in the High School Orchestra. He also played the mellophone in the High School Pep Band and took private lessons at the Ithaca Music School.

He is now a freshman at the University of Michigan School of music, See performance schwdule above.

He says math is his strongest subject and overall he carries a 3.7 GPA. He is taking advanced placement US History as well as studying Economics. In the summer of 2003 he made visits to university campuses and upon graduation hopes to attend either Northwestern, the University of Michigan or Yale.

Zachary founded the Juggling Club in Ithaca which now has 12 members. They put on shows for the benefit of various nonprofit organizations. Among a number of other objects, they juggle torches.

He has played for the Ithaca High School Boys' Volleyball Team for the past two years. His brother Peter says Zachary really is an amazing player.

He is active in scouting and is now a Life Scout. In the summer of 2003 he spent two weeks in New Mexico in a Junior Leadership Training course. Then he took a two week camping trip in Northern New Mexico with a group of scouts where they hiked, rode horses and did conservation work. They also explored a mine 12,000 feet deep.

As far as his social life goes he says he is not much into dating, but does correspond with a girl he met at Quaker Music Camp in Barnesville, OH. He goes stag to most high school events.
